Pâte dure porcelain tobacco box painted with coloured enamels and gilt relief. An eliptical box decorated on bleu de roi (royal blue) ground. A romantic miniature is painted on the cover. Gilt silver mounts. Copy from the second half of the nineteenth century, perhaps by Samson Ceramics.
